Donation Station Pocket: How to make an online transaction
If taking online donations (indicated by the absence of the text “Offline Mode” on the home screen), you must ensure the device is connected to the internet first. If you attempt to accept a donation in online mode when the device is not connected to a network, all donations will be declined.
To take donations online, first connect the device to an internet network.
From the home screen, press the yellow button on the pin pad.
Use the arrow and green button on the pin pad to enter the Connectivity menu.
Select Wi-Fi from the menu to bring up a list of available networks.
Select the desired network and use the pin pad to enter the network password.
Once connected, the device will return to the home screen.
Enter the donation amount in pence, e.g. for a £3 donation enter 300 on the pin pad. Press the green button to start the transaction.
Once the transaction is complete, the device will return to the home screen to allow you to take further donations.
