Donation Station Pocket: First time setup

1. Check that you have received all the items.

   1. Items included in the box with all Pocket orders are:

      1. MP200 card reader

      2. 5v 1a USB Plug

      3. Power cable.

   2. Optional accessories specified at the point of order are:

      1. Spare battery

      2. Security Lock.

2. Switch the card reader on by holding down the power button for a few seconds.

3. To take donations online, first connect the device to an internet network. From the home screen, press the yellow button on the pin pad.

IMPORTANT

If you plan on fundraising in an area where there is no internet connection available, you will need to ensure that you switch the device to Offline Mode BEFORE fundraising. If the device is not connected to the internet and not in Offline mode then transactions will fail.

4. Use the arrow and green button on the pin pad to enter the Connectivity menu.

5. Select Wi-Fi from the menu to bring up a list of available networks.

6. Select the desired network and use the pin pad to enter the network password.

7. Once connected, the device will return to the home screen.

8. From the home screen, enter the donation amount in pence, e.g. for a £3 donation, enter 300 using the pin pad. Press the green button to start the transaction.

9. Once the transaction is complete, the device will return to the home screen to allow you to take other donations.
