Midi Donation Station: Network Requirements
The Donation Station currently requires a network connection to run the software and process payments either during payment (Online Mode) or during upload of offline transactions (Offline mode).
This connection is primarily via Wi-Fi unless specified at the point of sale.
Below you will find specific requirements for the Wi-Fi network to ensure that the Donation Station will work.
The Donation Station needs to be placed within range of the Wi-Fi router.
The Wifi must be secured with a password
If your network has a firewall, you will need to ensure that the below domains/IP’s are whitelisted/accessible through the firewall.
The above traffic is using both ports 80, and 443 (http and https).
Depending on which payment solution you are using (Kinetic/MP200 or Latpay/VP3300), you will also need to accommodate the following.
Kinetic/MP200
The Wi-Fi network must be transmitting on a 2.4 GHz band.
The following web addresses need to be whitelisted on a network firewall.
