Manage Devices

You are able to reconfigure some of your Donation Station Pro settings yourself without having to speak with our support team.

You can:

1. Add/remove/modify Causes.

2. Change the pre-configured donation amounts.

3. Enable/disable gift aid.

To do this, follow the below instructions.

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Select “Manage Devices” from the navigation menu.

3. This will display all Donation Stations linked to your organisation.

4. Find the correct Donation Station by using the Kiosk ID or Kiosk Name and select View Details. This will then show you the current settings.

5. To modify the settings, select “Edit configuration”.

This will then take you through the setup flow:

1. Do you want to enable the Causes feature?
   You can add up to 4 pre-defined causes OR up to 3 pre-defined causes and a user-defined one.

2. Selecting Yes will ask you to the configure causes flow:

   1. Give your Cause a name, e.g. “Christmas appeal” and select Continue

   2. Enter your donation amounts
      You can have up to 4 pre-defined amounts, OR up to 3 pre-defined amounts and an optional “Other amount” button.
      Deselecting the Show Other Amount option will allow for a 4th amount to be configured.
      Leave any of the fields empty if you do not want the maximum number of amount buttons displayed.
      Select Continue.

   3. Do you want to enable Gift Aid for this specific cause?
      Select Yes or No.

   4. You are then asked if you would like to set additional causes. Please note, there should be more than one cause for a donor to choose from. Selecting No on the Do you want to add more causes will automatically add the Other cause, which will allow donor to enter free text as their cause.

3. Selecting No will take you to the donation amounts configuration screen.
   You can have up to 4 pre-defined amounts, OR up to 3 pre-defined amounts and an optional “Other amount” button.
   Deselecting the Show Other Amount option will allow for a 4th amount to be configured.
   Leave any of the fields empty if you do not want the maximum number of amount buttons displayed.
   Select Continue.

4. Do you want to enable gift aid?
   Select Yes or No.

5. Device configuration complete.

6. Selecting Go Back will show you the new configuration configuration settings you have chosen

IMPORTANT. New configuration settings are only picked up when the Donation Station app re-launches. This will usually happen with the overnight reboot. Alternatively, you can reboot the device immediately to pick the new settings up straight away.
