Handheld Donation Station: Network Requirements

The Donation Station currently requires a network connection to run the software and process payments either during payment (Online Mode) or during upload of offline transactions (Offline mode).

This connection is primarily via Wi-Fi unless specified at the point of sale.

Below you will find specific requirements for the Wi-Fi network to ensure that the Donation Station will work.

  1. The Donation Station needs to be placed within range of the Wi-Fi router.

  2. The Wifi must be secured with a password

If your network has a firewall, you will need to ensure that the below domains/IP’s are whitelisted/accessible through the firewall.

The above traffic is using both ports 80, and 443 (http and https).

Depending on which payment solution you are using (Kinetic/MP200 or Latpay/VP3300), you will also need to accommodate the following.

Kinetic/MP200

The Wi-Fi network must be transmitting on a 2.4 GHz band.

The following web addresses need to be whitelisted on a network firewall.

The above traffic is using ports 80 and 443 (http and https).

NTP (Network Time Protocol)

AIBMS

Latpay/VP3300
